For independent guidance and support in managing your career at Counties Manukau you will have access to our in-house Career Development programme and Career Development Consultant. This service is free and available to all staff. Career development is all about making decisions; achieving goals; knowing what gives you job satisfaction and getting the most out of your work. While there are many opportunities open to you at CMDHB and there are people available to support you at any stage of your journey including professional leaders, educators, managers and Human Resource personnel.

All staff can update their clinical at the Clinical Training and Education Centre (CTEC) located at Middlemore Hospital. Staff enjoy the hands-on learning that CTEC offers with experienced tutors, and the latest in simulation and clinical equipment.

There are various scholarships available in support of your work-related training and study.
